TENDER DESCRIPTION

BIM coordinator services include instruction, coordination and quality assurance tasks for BIM in space and building construction projects at different stages of the project. The aim of the services is to ensure that the BIMs produced in the project are of high quality, compatible, comply with the Contracting Authority’s requirements and support design, construction, commissioning and the use of the building throughout its lifecycle. The BIM coordinator acts as support for the Contracting Authority and the project team and reports on the status of BIM implementation to the project management, the lead designer and the BIM manager. A more detailed description of the tasks is set out in the service description attached to the request for tenders. For sub-area 1, 3 suppliers are selected. If, for sub-area 1, fewer tenderers meeting the eligibility requirements and acceptable tenders have been obtained than the numbers of framework agreement suppliers presented above, then correspondingly fewer framework agreement contracts will be made.
