TENDER DESCRIPTION

We request your tender to support data-driven management based on a data warehouse. At JAMK University of Applied Sciences, a reporting solution has been implemented in which a centralized data warehouse is used as the basis for reports. Data is transferred to the data warehouse from source systems for both finance, student administration, and human resources/HR using interfaces, file transfers, and, in part, files maintained manually on a network drive. The data transferred to the data warehouse is processed and transferred as Azure Data Factory transfers into tables, on the basis of which multiple data models designed for different purposes are formed and loaded into the Power BI service for use in reports. The need for support will be twofold. On the one hand, we need a partner that continuously monitors the data warehouse’s operation and responds promptly to any disruptions. On the other hand, it is foreseeable that data sources would be added to the data warehouse, so support and expertise will be needed when the required scope of work for that part is planned.
