The German Pension Insurance North Bavaria (DRV North Bavaria) plans to merge two existing rehabilitation clinics into a new rehabilitation center to be constructed. The site planned for new development is located in the southeast of the city of Bayreuth near the "Lohengrin-Therme" thermal bath in a landscape-influenced setting. The new rehabilitation center is intended for rehabilitation of the indication groups psychosomatics, orthopedics and oncology. The required floor area is approximately 14,000 m2 (usable area). The size of the plots for the development and the construction of associated car parking spaces is approximately 43,500 m2. The building has a pavilion structure. Two care pavilions are attached to a central building structure and connected by transparent walkways. The upper care pavilions and the central building structure of the therapeutic center sit on a flat plinth structure.
