TENDER DESCRIPTION

The tender concerns the purchase and delivery of laundry services for clothing for citizens living at home in Næstved Municipality. The service is provided in accordance with Act No. 1651 of 30 December 2024 (hereinafter the Elderly Act) Section 9(2), item 2 (practical assistance), pursuant to which the suppliers provide the service as subcontractors to the municipal integrated care service provider, and in accordance with Consolidated Act No. 1129 of 22 September 2024 on social services, including subsequent amendments (hereinafter the Social Services Act) Section 83(1), item 2 (practical assistance), pursuant to which citizens may choose a supplier regardless of the choice of supplier of practical assistance and personal care, cf. Section 91 of the Social Services Act. The purpose of the laundry scheme is to cover the needs of approved/assessed citizens for washing their clothing and linen. The supplier’s task is to handle the task in relation to collection, sorting, washing, drying, packing and delivery of the approved/assessed citizens’ clothing and linen.
