The primary objective is to offer pregnant individuals insured by TK, and those with children in their first year, access to professionally and medically quality-assured content provided by TK within a user-friendly digital framework. This includes expanding the app with new functionalities, such as a contraction counter and a child's size and weight diary, to provide extensive, individualized, and supportive guidance throughout pregnancy, in cases of pregnancy loss, or during the child's initial year.

The key responsibilities and deliverables for the contractor include:

• Providing a native mobile smartphone application for iOS and Android, incorporating all specified functional requirements.
• Managing the operation, hosting (including backend and monitoring), and ongoing maintenance of both the frontend and backend of the application.
• Delivering an internal TK demo version of the app for sales and marketing purposes on iOS, which must be continuously accessible.
• Providing a preview version of the app for iOS and Android, also continuously available, to display CMS content changes prior to publication for review.
• Setting up a staging version of the app for iOS and Android, available at all times, to validate new features and modifications before their release to the production environment.
• Establishing, adapting, and maintaining various interfaces and authentication methods for services such as midwife search (Keleya Digital-Health Solutions GmbH), electronic performance confirmation (IQVIA Health System Service GmbH), TK-Midwife consultation (Kinderheldin GmbH), CMS, app analysis, contact request registration, account deletion (TK), and the TK-App (Keycloak), as well as any future interfaces or authentication procedures.
• Ensuring the continuous evolution of the app through collaboration and coordination with TK, aiming to keep it technologically current and competitive in the market.
• Guaranteeing compatibility with other TK digital offerings and partner applications (e.g., TK-App, "Meine TK").
• Providing third-level support, with TK responsible for first and second-level support.

The contract is set to commence upon award, with a planned three-month period for new app development, and the app's productive launch (Go-Live) scheduled for May 1, 2027. The technical implementation is the contractor's responsibility, and the app must adhere to TK's corporate design guidelines. The project also encompasses requirements related to operation, hosting, support, availability, error management, quality assurance, data protection, and IT security, acknowledging the dynamic nature of the app in adapting to customer demands, technological advancements, and legal changes.
