TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Helsinki City Transport Authority HKL (assistance in implementing the procurement is provided by Pääkaupunkiseudun kaupunkiliikenne Oy) procures as a service full overhauls of Tka7 rail crane trucks. The subject of the full overhaul to be procured is one (1) Tka7 model rail crane truck. In addition, as an option, full overhauls are procured for three (3) similar Tka7 rail crane trucks; the decision on redeeming the full overhauls procured as each of the three options is made separately. The condition of the rail crane trucks is largely original, with possibly some small changes excepted. The rail crane trucks have been manufactured at VR’s workshops in the years 1980–87. As an option, installation of a pump intended for lubricating during low-speed operation of the axle-driven unit is also procured for the rail crane trucks. All four rail crane trucks must, after the full overhauls, be as consistent as possible from the users’ perspective, i.e. the switches and control devices must be in the same locations, if the three full overhauls procured as options are ordered.
