TENDER DESCRIPTION
1. Project description The Antoniushaus gGmbH is currently building a school extension for the Peter-Josef-Briefs School in Hochheim am Main. It is a special-needs school (Förderschule) that currently has 166 students with support needs in physical and motor development. The planned extension new-build is designed as an annex to the existing school building as a two-storey reinforced masonry/solid construction building (Massivbau). In addition to supplementary classrooms, the extension is intended to add specialist classrooms to the school operations. The renovation of the existing building is planned in parallel as a separate sub-project and is not part of this tender. 2. Current status of the construction project At the time of the tender, the project is under construction: a large part of the trades/contract packages have been awarded, the shell structure is completed, and the building envelope has been produced in large parts; initial fit-out works have been carried out. For some components already executed there are indications of technical and/or planning deviations.
