TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. Project description and special features The Schulstiftung der Diözese Regensburg, a church foundation under public law, is implementing the comprehensive structural reorganization of the Oberroning Realschule and Mittelschule. The school site consists of a historic monastery building as well as extension buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries. The former monastery and the extension buildings from the 19th century are protected as monuments. As part of the overall measure, the school building extension from the 1970s will be dismantled and replaced by a new building. In parallel, partial general refurbishment and the conversion of the listed existing buildings will be carried out for future use as a school. The total investment amounts to approximately €57 million according to the cost estimate. In order to meet the economic project objectives, the original design planning was fundamentally revised. The optimization in particular included reducing the building volume and the processing area by approximately 3,320 m², adapting the height planning and outdoor facilities planning, reducing paved break/lunch yard areas, reordering the external access arrangements…
