TENDER DESCRIPTION

The building of the KJF, built in 1983 in Eggenfelden, houses the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Rottal-Inn with the facilities of the St. Ruppert School for pupils with intellectual disabilities (teaching and sports use), a special needs day care centre, a school-preparatory facility and an integrative kindergarten. The original plan to refurbish the existing building was abandoned on the basis of a cost-effectiveness assessment; in the best decision, it was decided to carry out a complete (replacement) new build. The existing building must be completely demolished and then the site/building ground prepared for the new build. The connection to the public utilities/infrastructure is to be renewed and the new circumstances adapted. There is existing infrastructure which can be used for the replacement new build. In agreement with the client and/or the end users, it was decided to relocate the entire school during the construction phase and to carry out the construction project in a single construction lot/phase.
