TENDER DESCRIPTION

The project pursues the following strategic and operational objectives: • Establishing complete visibility of all connected IT and medical products, IoT devices, and GLT components in the network of Klinikum Esslingen • Passive, non-invasive monitoring of medically critical network segments without any impairment of clinical systems or ongoing patient care • Systematic vulnerability management for connected medical products, taking into account clinical criticality and regulatory requirements (MDR EU 2017/745) • Detection of network communication anomalies and threats in real time through network-based detection (NDR) • Meeting the regulatory requirements of NIS-2/BSIG and the GDPR, as well as aligning with B3S healthcare provision as best practice • Creating the technical prerequisites for integration with the planned XDR platform (Sophos XDR) and/or a future SIEM integration The project pursues the following strategic and operational objectives: • Establishing complete visibility of all connected IT and medical products, IoT devices, and GLT components in the network of Klinikum Esslingen • Passive, non-invasive monitoring of medically critical network segments without any…
