TENDER DESCRIPTION
The project pursues the following strategic and operational objectives: • Provision of complete visibility of all connected IT and medical products, IoT devices and GLT components in the network of Klinikum Esslingen • Passive, non-invasive monitoring of medically critical network segments without any impact on clinical systems or ongoing patient care • Systematic vulnerability management for connected medical products, taking into account clinical criticality and regulatory framework conditions (MDR EU 2017/745) • Detection of network communication anomalies and threats in real time through network-based detection (NDR) • Compliance with regulatory requirements under NIS-2/BSIG and the GDPR, as well as orientation towards B3S healthcare supply as the state of the art • Creation of the technical prerequisites for integration into the planned XDR platform (Sophos XDR) and/or a future SIEM integration
