TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the measure is the implementation of a three-stream primary school, including the required after-school (all-day), administration, and community use areas. The construction project includes the general refurbishment of Building component A and the conversion of the extension of Building component A, the demolition and new construction of the existing building for Building component B, as well as the conversion of the extension in Building component B, the demolition and new construction of the sports and swimming hall in Building component C, and the conversion of the existing building element D. Building component A is partially subject to protection as a listed monument. The entire school site is subject to ensemble protection. As a matter of principle, the new “planning frameworks for educational space concepts at schools in Cologne” and the school construction guidelines of the City of Cologne are to be taken into account and implemented in a modern and aesthetic architectural language.
