TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the measure is the implementation of a three-stream primary school including the required all-day, administrative and shared use areas. The construction project includes the general refurbishment of component A and the conversion of the extension to component A, the demolition and new construction of the existing building of component B as well as the conversion of the extension within component B, the demolition and new construction of the sports and swimming hall in component C as well as the conversion of the existing building element D. Component A is partly subject to listed building protection (Denkmalschutz). The entire school site is subject to ensemble protection (Ensembleschutz). In principle, the new “planning frameworks for educational space concepts at schools in Cologne” and the school construction guidelines of the City of Cologne are to be taken into account and implemented in a modern and aesthetically pleasing architectural language.
