TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the measure is the implementation of a three-stream primary school, including the necessary all-day, administration and community-use areas. The construction project includes the general refurbishment of Building A and the conversion/alteration of the extension to Building A, the demolition and new construction of the existing building of Building B as well as the conversion/alteration of the extension in Building B, the demolition and new construction of the sports and swimming hall in Building C, and the conversion/alteration of the existing building component D. Building A is partly subject to listed-heritage protection. The entire school site is subject to ensemble protection. As a matter of principle, the new “planning frameworks for educational space concepts at Cologne schools” and the school construction management guidelines of the City of Cologne must be taken into account and implemented in a modern and aesthetically appealing architectural language.
