TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom (hereinafter Traficom) requests your tender for the provision of public transport services. The specific targets and contract periods are shown in the tender documents. The transport is procured under a gross agreement. A gross agreement means a public transport services contract as referred to in the Regulation on service contracts in public passenger transport (1370/2007) and the Act on Procurements by Entities Operating in the Water, Energy, Transport and Postal Services Sectors (1398/2016), in which the fare revenue risk is borne by the contracting entity of the transport. In addition to Traficom, which acts as the contracting authority, municipalities, cities, wellbeing services counties, educational institutions and competent authorities may participate in the financing of the contracts arising from this procurement. For the transport included in this procurement, an exclusive right in accordance with the Regulation on service contracts in public passenger transport is granted by a separate administrative decision.
