TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom (hereinafter Traficom) requests your tender for the provision of public transport services. The specific targets and contract periods can be found in the tender documents. Transport will be procured under a gross contract. A gross contract means a public transport service contract within the meaning of the Regulation on service contracts in public passenger transport (1370/2007) and the Act on Public Procurement in the Utilities Sector (1398/2016), in which the ticket revenue risk lies with the contracting authority for the transport. In addition to Traficom, which acts as the contracting entity, municipalities, cities, wellbeing services counties, educational institutions and competent authorities may participate in the financing of the agreements arising from this procurement. For the transport included in this procurement, an exclusive right in accordance with the Regulation on service contracts in public passenger transport will be granted by a separate administrative decision.
