TENDER DESCRIPTION

Norrtälje Municipality currently lacks sufficiently detailed information about variations in traffic flows throughout the year, how traffic patterns develop over time, and how traffic flows are affected by different types of disruptions, for example roadworks, closures of streets and roads, and major events. The purpose of this procurement is to establish fixed measurement points along the municipal road network for continuous collection of traffic data. Through these measurement points, the municipality is able to monitor traffic flows on an ongoing basis, analyse the load on the municipal road network, and identify both capacity deficiencies and variations. The material shall contribute to improved traffic planning, monitoring, and long-term development of the road network.
