TENDER DESCRIPTION

At the site of the Wilhelm-von-Oranien-Schule (WvO) in Dillenburg, the 4-court sports hall (Nassau-Oranien-Halle) was built in the 1980s on Mühlenstraße, at the corner of Hof-Feldbach-Straße. Owing to its intensive use as a sports hall, among other things for more than 1,200 students of the WvO as well as further school and extracurricular uses (for example by surrounding clubs or the disaster control service), the hall has a fundamental and energy-related need for refurbishment. The refurbishment of the sports hall is intended to ensure child-appropriate physical education at the school location in Dillenburg. In addition, it should continue to be possible for many clubs to use the hall outside school hours in order to ensure the continued sporting benefit. The variety of clubs, differentiated by sport and age, is thereby an important social component for the city and beyond. In addition, the refurbishment aims to achieve higher energy efficiency and, if possible, to additionally install photovoltaic systems for sustainable building management.
