TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Syndicat Pic et Etang exercises the waste treatment competence for its 6 member groups of municipalities: • Pays de l’Or agglomeration community; • Communauté de communes du Grand Pic St Loup; • Lunel Agglo agglomeration community; • Communauté de communes Rhôny-Vistre-Vidourle; • Communauté de communes du Pays de Sommières; • Communauté de communes Terre de Camargue. Its territory comprises 89 municipalities representing approximately 230,000 resident inhabitants in the South-East of the Hérault and the South-West of the Gard sectors. The waste collected by the various groupings is sent to treatment facilities under service provision contracts with the Syndicat. The wood skips from the waste collection centres (déchèteries) in the territory must therefore be subject to appropriate processing by a dedicated service provider. The Syndicat’s intention as part of this consultation is to have the service provider ensure the most effective possible recovery/valorisation of this wood.
