Currently, the SAP-HCM system is operated in the company within the industry solution oscare(R) and is supplemented by several point solutions. For essential components of this system landscape such as HCM ERP, the employee portal (ESS/MSS) and the Learning Solution (LSO), a maintenance end has been announced for 31.12.2027. This results in a clear need for action to further develop HR IT in good time or to set it up anew. Against this background, in 2025 the preliminary project "Analyse Personal IT" (Analysis of HR IT) was carried out. The aim was a comprehensive as-is assessment and a sound analysis of the existing processes and applications in the areas of personnel and HR IT. It was confirmed that the software landscape for the personnel area of Mobil Krankenkasse is based on a historically grown, heterogeneous architecture. At the center is SAP HCM On-Premise within the industry solution oscare(R) (AOK Systems), through which the classic core HR functions such as master data management (PA), organizational management (OM), time management (PT) and payroll accounting (PY) are mapped.
