TENDER DESCRIPTION

Kalundborg Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (hereinafter “KCR”) is to be expanded as a consequence of the fact that, in the coming years, industry in the Municipality of Kalundborg will increase its discharge. The expansion of KCR (hereinafter “the Project”) is carried out both to increase the biological capacity of the facility, to improve control of overflows, new sludge dewatering, and removal of environmentally harmful substances through the third and fourth treatment plants. The Project is implemented through a number of tenders within construction and civil engineering, mechanical and electrical works, system suppliers, and SCADA. Kalundborg Wastewater Treatment Plant A/S (“the Contracting Authority”) has entered into a framework agreement with Envidan A/S, which provides technical advisory services and assistance, engineering design, construction management, and process specialist advisory services in connection with the Project’s implementation.
