TENDER DESCRIPTION

This re-tender concerns performance of transport of assistive devices, for example wheelchairs, rollators, electric beds, patient lifts, etc. for the Assistive Device Centre of Frederiksberg Municipality. The transport takes place between Frederiksberg Municipality’s Assistive Device Centre and the citizens’ place of residence. The citizens primarily live within the municipality’s urban boundary. However, some transports may occur outside the municipality. In these cases, the addresses are in Zealand (Sjælland). In connection with delivery, some assistive devices must be assembled and disassembled, and it must be possible to provide easy instructions for use of the assistive device. The transport includes both delivery, collection and replacement/exchange of the assistive devices. The transport must take place on weekdays during daytime between 9:00 and 14:00. It is expected that approx. 3,700 journeys will be carried out per year, distributed between transport of “light” assistive devices, which commonly require one person for the transport, and “heavy” assistive devices, which commonly require two persons for the transport.
