TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Waste Treatment and Energy Recovery Unit (UTVE) for household waste from Lyon Sud is operated in-house by the Waste Department of the Lyon Metropolis, with a workforce of approximately 65 people. The unit was commissioned in 1990 and operates 365 days per year, 24 hours a day. This unit currently processes approximately 250,000 tonnes of waste per year. This consultation is for the transport, processing and recovery, as road engineering materials, of incineration bottom ash (mâchefers) produced by the UTVE of the Lyon Sud waste. Incineration bottom ash from the incineration of non-hazardous waste (MIDND) consists of slags resulting from the extraction of solid materials at the furnace outlet of non-hazardous waste thermal treatment facilities (household waste, rejects from sorting of packaging from separate collections). The contract will include the following services: -Providing, on a just-in-time basis, a means of transport by waterway under the adapted loading system at berth No. 2 of the Édouard Herriot Port, with an alternative possible by trucks for the first four months of the contract, then as backup during very occasional periods, subject to approval by the Lyon…
