TENDER DESCRIPTION

AW SAS - AöR operates the Nißma landfill at the site Nißma, Am Geyersberg 1, in the municipality of Elsteraue, as a Class II landfill, where, up to 2005, household and commercial waste, construction and demolition waste, and also industrial waste were deposited and mineral waste is still deposited. The hazardous leachate concentrate designated for collection and disposal is generated continuously throughout the year in the leachate treatment plant (a reverse osmosis plant). The quantity generated depends on the weather conditions. The leachate concentrate is temporarily stored in a 150 m³ storage tank. The leachate concentrate has high levels of organic substances such as ammonium, chloride and sulphate. However, it also contains heavy metals, in particular chromium and nickel. The current analysis values are attached as an annex. The leachate concentrate is to be sent to an approved disposal facility. The response time between commissioning and disposal should not exceed 48 hours.
