TENDER DESCRIPTION

This tender concerns transport support for the Defence’s deployments globally, including replenishment. The agreement shall cover all transport modalities, i.e. road transport, air transport, sea transport and, to a lesser extent, also rail transport and courier transport, as well as multimodal transport. The Defence has its own means of transport, but not enough to cover the need. The agreement is therefore a supplement to the Defence’s own and Allies’ transport capacities. The transports include, among other things (non-exhaustive): Transport of any form of military and non-military equipment, including classified equipment (up to and including the classification level “TOP SECRET” (TS)), sensitive equipment and dangerous goods, including ITAR-regulated shipments (“International Traffic in Arms Regulations”), etc., as well as transport of personnel. It will be a requirement that the supplier can handle any necessary task associated with the transport as well as related service deliverables.
