TENDER DESCRIPTION

The project consists in the construction of the new Vaucens electrical substation, located on plot No 3311 in the municipality of Bulle, owned by Gruyère Energie SA, at approximately 250 m from the existing Etang electrical substation. In the long term, the new substation will completely replace the Etang substation. The new building will be intended to accommodate, in particular, high-voltage and medium-voltage installations, comprising switchgear rated 72.5 kV operated at 60 kV, switchgear rated 24 kV operated at 18 kV, two power transformers 64.2/21.5-18.7 kV with 31.5 MVA each, as well as a reserve niche for a third transformer. The building will also include the premises and installations required for the substation’s auxiliary services and control-and-command. This contract covers the timber construction works required to carry out the new Vaucens electrical substation.
