TENDER DESCRIPTION

This framework agreement concerns Cold-laid Asphalt works. Their primary objective is the preventive and corrective maintenance of the surface layers of the road network. Their essential aims are: - Improve skid resistance: by restoring the surface texture (macrotexture) of the carriageway to ensure users' safety. - Make the substrate waterproof: in order to protect the road structure against water ingress and frost, thereby extending its service life. - Provide an environmental response: by using a cold technique that limits energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions compared with conventional asphalt. Information on the execution of previous contracts is set out in Article 2-3-7 of the consultation rules (RC).
