TENDER DESCRIPTION

This framework agreement concerns Cold-Laid Asphalt works. Their main objective is the preventive and remedial maintenance of the road network’s surface layers. Their essential aims are: - Improve adhesion: by restoring the pavement roughness (macrotexture) to guarantee users’ safety. - Make the substrate waterproof: in order to protect the road structure against water infiltration and frost, thereby extending its service life. - Provide an environmental response: by using a cold technique that limits energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions compared with conventional asphalt. Information on the execution of previous contracts is set out in Article 2-3-7 of the consultation rules (RC). As part of certain new works operations (excluding maintenance), the services that are the subject of this consultation may fall under a coordination mission in the field of safety and health in category 2 or 3 within the meaning of the Labour Code.
