TENDER DESCRIPTION

The object of the contract consists of the provision of maintenance, conservation, prevention and repair works of public riverbeds in urban sections and, when strictly necessary, in non-urban sections to guarantee the hydraulic and geomorphological coherence of the actions, with the aim of maintaining drainage capacity and contributing to flood risk reduction. The actions include, among others, the removal of vegetation with poor hydraulic performance, control and eradication of invasive species, removal of sediments and debris, environmental restoration works, as well as technical monitoring and subsequent consolidation tasks of the interventions carried out. The services are configured as repeated and functional maintenance and environmental and hydraulic management actions, without involving a structural transformation of the land typical of a works contract. Consequently, the contract is classified as a service contract, in accordance with articles 17 and 308 and following of the LCSP.
