TENDER DESCRIPTION
Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Charitéplatz 1, 10117 Berlin, is issuing the call for tenders for the new build of the Berlin Center for Gene and Cell Therapies on behalf of Gene and Cell Therapies Incubator Berlin GmbH (GCT). Overall project: With the Berlin Center for Gene and Cell Therapies project, a modern new build is being created at the southernmost part of the existing Bayer Campus (Sellerstraße), comprising laboratory and office space as well as GMP areas for a total of approximately 720 employees. The overall building consists of four usage areas: IQ Spaces Expansion, Co-Lab, Incubator and GMP facility. In this context, the incubator area and the GMP production facility form the translation center. The laboratory and office spaces that can be used flexibly within the incubator area will be used primarily by company founders (start-ups), which are particularly active in the field of research and development of cell and gene therapies.
