TENDER DESCRIPTION
Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Campus Virchow-Klinikum (CVK), Augustenburger Platz 1, 13353 is putting out the following construction service for the new build of the Deutsche Herzzentrum of the Charité including the Central Emergency Department (ZNA) and the Central Sterile Supply (ZSVA), CVK (DHZC): Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin intends to construct a forward-looking new building for the Deutsche Herzzentrum of the Charité (DHZC) in the south-western area of the Campus Virchow-Klinikum (CVK). The planned new building will also house the Central Sterile Supply (ZSVA) and the Central Emergency Department (ZNA), and a helicopter landing pad will be built on the roof of the building. The total usable floor area for the new build DHZC is approx. 29,800 m² with a gross floor area of approx. 75,600 m² and a gross volume of approx. 355,000 m³. It is planned to construct the new build as a building above ground with 16 storeys above ground as well as 2 storeys below ground, and for the building a sustainability certification according to the system of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) is being targeted in the “Gold” category.
