TENDER DESCRIPTION
Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Campus Virchow-Klinikum (CVK), Augustenburger Platz 1, 13353, is announcing a construction contract for the new building of the German Heart Center of the Charité including the Emergency Department (ZNA) and Central Sterilization Supply Area (ZSVA), CVK (DHZC): Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin intends to erect a forward-looking new building for the German Heart Center of the Charité (DHZC) in the southwestern area of the Campus Virchow-Klinikum (CVK). The planned new building will also house the Central Sterilization Supply Area (ZSVA) and the Emergency Department (ZNA), and a helicopter landing pad will be built on the roof of the building. The total usable area for the new DHZC building is approximately 29,800 m² with a gross floor area of approximately 75,600 m² and a gross volume of approximately 355,000 m³. It is planned to construct the new building as a high-rise building with 16 upper floors and 2 basement levels, and the building aims for a sustainability certification according to the system of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) at the "Gold" level.
