TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Heinrich-Pattberg secondary school in Moers is, as a 3.5-form-entry linked all-day school, the only secondary school in Moers. On the school site there are seven separate buildings of different construction periods. The two oldest buildings were erected in the early twentieth century for the former Bergschule as brick buildings with gabled roofs. This “existing building” has three storeys and is fully basemented; it contains classrooms, the administration, and various storage and technical rooms. In the early 1990s, two new teaching buildings (Buildings I+II) were added (1 classroom wing, 1 science wing), which are connected to the “existing building” via a T-shaped connecting corridor at the level of the 1st floor. Furthermore, there is a new multi-sports hall with a forum, an open atrium hall for breaks (former bicycle storage area) and a two-storey pavilion with additional classrooms on the site. The large multi-sports hall was newly built in 2003 and is not intended to be changed. The class pavilion and the atrium hall for breaks are to be demolished as part of the overall project.
