TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement unit of the City of Kaarina, Purchasing and Catering Services, requests tenders for fresh bread for the period 1.1.2027–31.12.2028. After that, the contract may be extended, at the contracting authority’s decision, under the original terms for two (2) options of one (1) year each (1.1.2029–31.12.2029 and 1.1.2030–31.12.2030). Separate decisions will be made regarding the activation of the option periods. The aim of the procurement is to establish a contract for the supply of fresh bread to meet the needs of the City of Kaarina. The delivery locations are listed in Appendix 3. Deliveries must take place during the time period from 06:30 to 14:00. The products must be suitable for professional use and comply with the laws, decrees, standards and other requirements issued by the authorities in force in Finland. Product descriptions must be available for all products. The fresh breads must be baked within 20 hours from the delivery time. The transport vehicles must comply with the current food legislation.
