TENDER DESCRIPTION
The subject of the procurement is the health examination service for unemployed persons provided by the City of Helsinki. The health examination for unemployed persons is a package that includes contacting the client by phone and booking an appointment for a remote consultation with a healthcare professional, an electronic health examination, and interviews with healthcare professionals during the remote consultation. In the same context, alcohol consumption is assessed in the form of a mini-intervention, lifestyle guidance is provided for those at risk of type 2 diabetes, and the need to intervene in the use of other substances is evaluated. The service provider also provides service and care guidance related to other illnesses if necessary. The nurse/public health nurse's health examination/consultation is conducted via telephone or video call. A non-binding estimate for the required health examinations for unemployed persons is approximately 3,000 examinations per year.
