TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the health examination service for the unemployed of the City of Helsinki. The health examination for the unemployed is a whole consisting of contacting the client by phone and booking an appointment for a remote consultation with a professional, an electronic health examination, and interviews by healthcare professionals in the remote consultation. In the same context, alcohol use is assessed in the form of a mini-intervention and lifestyle guidance is provided for those at risk of type 2 diabetes, as well as assessing the need to address the use of other intoxicants. The service provider also provides service and care guidance related to other diseases if necessary. The nurse/public health nurse health examination/consultation is conducted by phone or video call. The non-binding estimate of the required health examinations for the unemployed is approximately 3000 examinations per year.
