TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is laundry services for workwear used in its operations by the Helsinki City Service Centre business unit (hereinafter Service Centre Helsinki or the contracting authority) for the contract period 1.9.2027–31.8.2029. The contracting authority may extend the contract for an option period that is valid indefinitely. The procurement concerns laundry services for workwear of healthcare sector employees and supervisors. The services offered must comply with the requirements set out in this request for tenders and its appendices. The contracting authority determines the suitability for final use. The quantity of the service to be procured may vary during the contract period due to the needs of the contracting authority. The quantities presented are estimated quantities for four (4) years and are provided solely to support the preparation of the tender. The contracting authority is not committed to any order volumes. If the order volumes of the services or the delivery locations increase or decrease during the contract period, this must not affect the pricing provided by the tenderer in its tender.
