TENDER DESCRIPTION

Tree appraisal in the project to extend the U5 tram line between the Preungesheim station and the S-Bahn station 'Frankfurter Berg'. As part of the project, the U5 tram line is to be extended by approximately 1.5 km between the existing Preungesheim station, with two stations located on the side, and the future terminus Frankfurter Berg. In parallel with the new alignment, the roads, footpaths and cycle paths are also to be rearranged. In addition, within the scope of the measure, extensive realignment work for entities supplying and removing services (utilities) is required. The objective of this invitation to tender is the preparation of a tree appraisal that assesses the general condition of the existing trees within the project area, estimates the impact of the construction project on these trees and identifies measures for the preservation of the trees. The results serve as a basis for the landscape/freight area planner and for the further project planning of the transport facilities.
