Performance phases 1 to 3 (stage 1) and performance phases 5 to 8 (optional stage 2), as well as special and additional services. As part of the overall project “Extension of the U5 tram line between Preungesheim station and Frankfurter Berg S-Bahn station”, the municipal drainage engineering installations within the planning area must also be newly designed and/or relocated. The new tram alignment runs along Homburger Landstraße in Frankfurt am Main between the above-mentioned stations, with a length of approx. 1.5 km. Within the project area, over the entire length, there are public stormwater, foul water and combined sewer pipes of the municipal drainage system Frankfurt am Main made of stoneware and concrete. The pipe diameters vary from DN 300 to DN 700. The sewers serve to discharge foul water and surface water from the connected properties and surface areas.
