TENDER DESCRIPTION

Service phases 1 to 3 (Stage 1) and service phases 5 to 8 (optional Stage 2) as well as special and additional services. As part of the overall project “Extension of the U5 tram line between Preungesheim station and Frankfurter Berg S-Bahn station”, the municipal drainage engineering facilities within the planning area must also be newly planned and/or re-planned. The new tram alignment runs along Homburger Landstraße in Frankfurt am Main between the aforementioned stations, with a length of approx. 1.5 km. Within the project area there are, over the entire length, public rainwater, foul water and combined sewer canals of the municipal drainage system Frankfurt am Main made of stoneware and concrete. The pipe diameters range from DN 300 to DN 700. The sewers are used to discharge foul water and surface water from the connected properties and surfaces. These must be newly planned and/or re-planned as part of the planning. In the spirit of climate protection, the topics of rainwater management and protection against extreme rainfall events must be taken into account in the planning.
