TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the revision of the Munich Lane Model, the semantic lane model of all lanes within the city area of the contracting authority City of Munich (LHM). The revisions are not necessary for all road segments or intersections. Therefore, before revising the Lane Model at the beginning of the period, it is important to identify the road segments and intersections where a revision is necessary. For this purpose, the existing Lane Model must on the one hand be compared with the images of the current road survey via the browser-based application infra3D provided by LHM. On the other hand, the existing Lane Model must be compared in GIS software with the latest aerial image as well as vector-based auxiliary datasets. The core task is to revise the Lane Model at the previously identified necessary locations. This includes several components: • The current form of the Lane Model is based on aerial images from the years 2019 and 2021 as well as road surveys from the years 2019 and 2020.
