TENDER DESCRIPTION

The procurement includes the provision of comprehensive care in accordance with the Act on Social Services for Older Persons and the provision of home care in accordance with the Danish Social Services Act for home-dwelling citizens in Rudersdal Municipality. Tasks covered by the Danish Health Act are also included in the procurement, just as there is an obligatory option for the provision of general nursing care, which is expected to be integrated into the comprehensive care as the Danish Health Act is amended. An agreement is entered into with a supplier. The services are covered by the rules on free choice, and thus citizens in Rudersdal Municipality will be able to choose, through this procurement, between the municipal supplier and the private supplier. The scope of the services to be provided depends on the number of assessed citizens who choose the private supplier.
