TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Danish National Police (Rigspolitiet) invites tenders for a contract for the supply of tactical modular ballistic protective vests with associated components and accessories for the police in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. A tactical modular ballistic protective vest is understood to mean a vest that provides ballistic protection against handgun ammunition and fragments to the torso. Depending on the specific task, the vest must be capable of being used both with and without supplementary ballistic protection for the shoulders, neck, upper arms, sides and groin. The vest must also be capable of being fitted with pouches and corresponding carrying means, including from other manufacturers. The tactical ballistic protective vest is used in the police’s operational service and must be able to work in conjunction with the police’s other equipment, uniforms, vehicles and task performance. The tactical vest is mainly used by response patrols which, with special training, tactics and weapons, perform a wide range of high-risk tasks.
