TENDER DESCRIPTION

This tender concerns the transport of the Contracting Authority’s kitchen and food waste from the Contracting Authority’s transshipment hall in Thisted to receiving facilities in Viborg. There is a 4-year contract with commencement on 01.01.2027. The expected annual amount of waste is 3,500 tonnes. The Contracting Authority expects the Contractor to handle approximately 175 transports per year. The estimated annual number of transports is for guidance only and does not constitute a guarantee for a specific number of transports during the contract period. The actual number of transports may vary both upwards and downwards depending on the Contracting Authority’s needs and the actual quantities of waste. Tenderers’ attention is drawn to the following: - Requirements are imposed that the Tenderer must comply with EURONORM 6. - Furthermore, the Tenderer must hold a Community licence pursuant to Section 1 of the Goods Transport Act. - Furthermore, the Tenderer must register as a waste transporter in accordance with the Waste Register Executive Order, Section 6(1) and (2), in the Waste Register at the latest by the time the contract is initiated.
