TENDER DESCRIPTION
DRS collects deposit-bearing beverage packaging throughout Denmark from grocery stores and other Return Recipients. For the collection, DRS uses Citytrailers, which are towed by drawbar tractors and which form part of DRS’ daily collection setup. The Citytrailers are used to collect and exchange filled Load Carriers at the Return Recipients, which are subsequently transported to one of DRS’ factories in Denmark for further handling and processing. Citytrailers are central to DRS’ daily operations, as they are included in DRS’ daily performance of tasks and contribute to DRS’ full-service solution for the Return Recipients. DRS brings an electric hoist into the Citytrailer, so that DRS’ drivers themselves can pick up filled Load Carriers and deliver a corresponding number of empty Load Carriers to the Return Recipient. Overall, the Citytrailers must comprise a chassis, cargo box, top flap and lift, as well as other necessary equipment, including solutions that support the daily pickup and exchange of Load Carriers at the Return Recipients.
