TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Grefrath plans the modernization and redesign of the town hall. For this purpose, the listed existing building stock is to be modernized and expanded by a new two- and/or three-storey (split-level), non-basement new build. This is connected to the existing historic building in a barrier-free manner by means of a small connecting structure. The on-site structural shell consists of a reinforced concrete core in predominantly cast-in-place construction, as well as single-leaf masonry of the external walls (north facade and both gable sides). The carpentry/room works complement the structural shell with a two-storey timber load-bearing framework and an external balcony on the south side, as well as the roof load-bearing framework on the north and south sides.
