TENDER DESCRIPTION
Up to now, the district heating supply has been provided by waste heat from the biomass combined heat and power plant at Ziegelweg. Electricity was generated via a turbine using a wood chip boiler. The waste heat was used partly for the district heating supply. Operation was discontinued on 31 March 2026. The advertised scope of service includes planning and construction supervision (HOAI service phases 3 design planning through 9 site supervision) and essentially comprises the following measures: - Demolition of the existing technical plant stock - two wood chip boilers with output of 1,000 kW and 4,500 kW respectively - 200 m³ buffer storage tank - an electric boiler - covering of the fuel storage area - conveying systems - flue gas system with filter - piping - instrumentation, control and measurement (ICM) technology - electrical installations
