TENDER DESCRIPTION

The city of Straelen plans for the Katharinengrundschule on the school campus at Fontanestraße the new construction of a two-storey year-level building (JGH gross floor area 5,573 m²) as well as a two-storey administration wing (gross floor area 2,944 m²) as an annex to the existing school building (built in 1969 and 1992). Both new buildings will be constructed using timber frame construction. The year-level building serves cross-school use within the primary school and includes teaching areas as well as all-day spaces for the Open All-Day School (OGS) and the reliable half-day (VHT). The administration wing is primarily used by the teaching staff of the OGS. To connect to the existing building, two connecting corridors will be built, directly linking the administration wing with the existing building parts.
