TENDER DESCRIPTION

The neighbourhood work essentially takes place in the three fields of action “living environment and neighbourhood development”, “health promotion” and “social participation”. The fields of action “housing” and “care and social services” listed in the action concept “Ageing in Hamm!” are also covered in the neighbourhoods and social spaces with information and counselling services, but in terms of planning and action focus they are rather set up centrally. The field of action “living environment and neighbourhood development” includes barrier-free accessibility of basic supply offers, infrastructure facilities and local recreation areas, which are to be designed according to needs, as well as crime prevention measures. People ageing should feel safe in their district. Another important point is involvement and co-design. In neighbourhood development, it is particularly important to pay more attention to the needs and suggestions of people ageing. Maintaining health in old age is to be supported through a health-promoting lifestyle and the appropriate use of prevention and care services.
