TENDER DESCRIPTION

District work is carried out essentially in the three fields of action “Living environment and district design”, “Health promotion” and “Social participation”. The fields of action “Housing” and “Care and Social Services” listed in the action concept “Älterwerden in Hamm!” are also represented in the districts and social areas with information and advisory services, but in terms of their planning and action orientation they are rather set up centrally. In the field of action “Living environment and district design” fall barrier-free accessibility of basic supply offerings, infrastructure facilities and local recreation areas, which are to be designed according to needs, as well as measures for crime prevention. People growing older should feel safe in their district. Another important point is participation and co-design. After all, in district development it is particularly important to pay more attention to the needs and suggestions of people growing older.
